Open Minded Music started in 2003 to put on quality events music across Essex. Over the past 5 years we have put on over 100 events in Witham and across Essex, undertaking both self-promoted events, and working with other promoters and production teams. All our events are run by music fans, for music fans.
Over the past two years OMM has branched out, providing sound & light for other events, and providing both specialist DJs and DJ's/mobile discos for all types of private functions. Our focus is making sure that a good night is had by all – we have an extensive range of music for all types of people young and old, and nearly always get the room up and dancing!
OMM operates as a social enterprise. We keep our prices as low as we can and aim to provide excellent value for money as well as a professional service! Any profits we make are invested back into future events or equipment, or donated to charity. The majority of our staff are volunteers and everyone from OMM does what they do because we love live music and DJing- not simply to make money!
